ASTURIAS, ALDEAS Y SENDEROS

We begin today's route in a beautiful and peaceful Asturian mountain village. Stone, greenery, crystal-clear waters, granaries, and idyllic surrounding nature are its hallmarks. As Veigas has transformed itself into a profitable haven of peace and quiet, as it also attracts nature tourism. This village, once almost uninhabited and lost in the mountains, has undergone a transformation toward high-quality rural tourism and is now a resounding success. We continue the route along a native forest trail and recount small discoveries about the small Asturian fauna that sometimes goes unnoticed; for example, the salamander and its contribution to medical science. A varied trail that ends in another Asturian village that seems straight out of a medieval tale and will serve as the subject of the next video.
