Gainesville, TX: A Walking Tour of History

In this video, we will take a walking tour of Gainesville and explore some of its history. We will start at the Cooke County Courthouse, which is a National Register of Historic Places building. The courthouse was built in 1886 and is a beautiful example of Victorian architecture. We will then walk to the Gainesville Public Library, which is a Carnegie library that was built in 1903. The library has a collection of over 100,000 books, movies, and music.
