How to Set Up a Floyd Rose for Drop Tuning
Floyd Rose... I love em', and I hate em'. In this video, we walk through the steps for setting up a Floyd Rose for drop tuning, and some tips for making sure it stays IN TUNE! Thanks for watching! Quick Steps: 1. Block your tremolo so it wont move when you adjust tuning 2. Loosen string locks on neck 3. Adjust tuning to preference (drop D, for example) 4. Tighten string locks back up (not too tight) 5. Remove tremolo blocks (tuning will drop - that's okay) 6. Now adjust your claw screws to the desired string pitch Questions? Tips?
