UK - Blue Peter returns to the racetrack after over 20 years, 13th July 2024

After 22 years out of steam, LNER class A2 pacific number 60532 "Blue Peter" made a superb return to the East Coast Mainline (traditionally known as the racetrack) with a private charter from London Kings Cross to York. The A2 performed as it should, like a new locomotive, keeping time perfectly (with the exception of a signalling hold up). Locations in this video a re not in correct chronological order but we chose to put the best at the start for most people to enjoy. Recorded on 13th July 2024.
