Antonov AN-124 (An124) London Stansted Airport to Zurich Takeoff Great Sound Planespotting | UR-82007 early morning departure | Up Close video with ATC This video was filmed at London Stansted Airport on 4 Feb 2017 and features the Giant Antonov An-124 preparing for departure on a short flight to Zurich. The aircraft requires a follow-me vehicle at Stansted and a long 4 minutes on the runway to warm up. Looking very smart in the colours of the flag of Ukraine representing fields of wheat and blue skies, it is always a very nice sight and great, deep roaring sound. I've been lucky to film a number of these giant aircraft at Stansted but hope that you enjoy this video as well, and I tried to do a few different things such as short time-lapse to begin with. Also on this FREEZING cold and wet morning, I was pleased to catch an Austrian Airbus A319 which was operating from Innsbruck.
