When Lauren found a lump in her breast, she was flung into a turbulent whirl of surgery and its aftermath. Compass follows the 37-year-old’s physical and emotional journey as she decides to remove her remaining breast and defy cultural expectations around reconstruction. Lauren is part of the “Go Flat Movement” which is growing among Australian women either diagnosed with or at risk of breast cancer.
