Kangaroo - Grasshopper Tutorial | Voronoi Vault | Rhino 3D modelling

Extended Tutorial along with Grasshopper files 👉 https://www.patreon.com/collection/36... In this video, we will show you how to generate a Vaulted structure from a Voronoi. The process involves creating a Voronoi and converting it into a Mesh with subdivided quad faces. Successive kangaroo operations including Anchor, OnMesh, Load, Edge-length goals are used to create the final vaulted geometry. Entire process is broken into 2 parts. Part A deals with the creation of base mesh using voronoi cells, which is covered in this video.. This is done entirely in grasshopper and results in a clean mesh topology. Part B of this process uses the base mesh and applies various kangaroo goals and restrictions to create the vaulted structure. 00:00 - Overview 00:39 - Step 01 - Create Voronoi curves 03:50 - Step 02 - Base Surface from voronoi curves 05:40 - Step 03 - Vertex clusters 07:50 - Step 04 - Surface to Mesh conversion 11:37 - Step 05 - Anchor Goal 15:14 - Step 06 - Remaining Goals 17:17 - Step 07 - Run Kangaroo Solver QbrickLab Tutorials: » Nonagon Mesh Geometry :    ‱ Kangaroo Mesh Relaxation | Nonagon | Rhino...   » Network Vault :    ‱ Digital Form Finding - Chapter 03 | Networ...   » Mesh Modelling playlist :    ‱ Mesh Modelling - Chapter 01 | What is a Me...   » Kangaroo Physics playlist :    ‱ Kangaroo Physics Simulations - Chapter 02 ...   📌 Instagram   / qbrick_lab Â
