Day 3 in Ethiopia takes the adventure to a whole new level! We kick off the day with a thrilling boat trip on Lake Chamo, where we came face-to-face with massive Nile Crocodiles and spotted majestic Fish Eagles perched in their nests. The journey continues with a scenic drive through lush, green farmlands toward the village of Konso. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, Konso is world-renowned for its unique and ancient stone terracing system. But it’s not just about the landscapes! We also dived into the local flavors, trying authentic Injera paired with Shiro (a delicious traditional Ethiopian pea stew). To wrap up an incredible day, we checked into a stunning lodge with an atmosphere that is simply out of this world.
