2021 Ronix - Kinetic | Wakeboard Review

When watching Dominik Hernler ride, the first thought that comes to mind is style, and his Kinetic line up is no different. This year's Kinetic kept it similar to last years with a clean graphic that isn't in your face but certainly looks good. For our review we had the Flexbox 1 variant that features a stiff tip and tail with a more flexy center. This board is one of the few boards that we tested that doesn't exactly conform to the wave of super flexy boards that seem to be increasing in popularity; which is definitely not a bad thing. With the Kinetic being a bit on the stiffer side the rider is rewarded for having to work a bit harder for a solid press or butter with a board that offers very consistent pop, is fast on the water and provides relatively soft landings. This makes the Kinetic an all around consistent board, it may not be the most forgiving edge to edge due to its deep channels but it is the trade off that comes with a board that tracks as smooth and as fast as this one.
