Lumus Instruments Contrarium with Maarten Vos and Max Frimout

This performance felt like a space opera. What begins as a minimalist interplay of light and sound, becomes a story of exploration, fear, hope and power. Maarten Vos and Max Frimout establish a world of sound that speaks a distinct language. Carried by light it forms a powerful narrative. We often describe Contrarium as an “IMAX experience in a club”, and this definitely came close to that. This performance was originally created for Contrarium at Monopol, and now refined for Lofi.
