A new commercial for the Baycrew Group, starring actor Nijiro Murakami and model SUMIRE, was released on November 7th. The commercial's theme song is "The Sun in Your Hands, the Moon in Your Heart," a classic by Murakami's mother, singer UA. This time, it's covered by the band "SODA!", whose vocalist is SUMIRE's father, actor Tadanobu Asano, making this a "two-generation collaboration." The Baycrew Group, which operates apparel brands and celebrated its 40th anniversary this September, is said to express the company's philosophy, "Not Smart, But Creative." The new commercial features Murakami and UA bumping into each other on the beach and embracing each other underwater. When asked in the interview, "Do you act smartly?" in reference to his philosophy, SUMIRE replied, "No, I still can't imagine myself acting at all. I haven't established it yet, and I'd like to solidify my style a bit more." When asked, "Do you live smartly?" Murakami said, "I sometimes think it's not good to be too smart. In this day and age, you have to be clever. With so much information available, I think it's really important to discern what is important to you. So basically, if you're not smart, it's really tough, or maybe it's hard to live. But being able to be really clumsy, rough, pure and silly in creative moments is my ideal style."
