However, for the truly adventurous, driving to Alaska is a journey beyond what you imagine. The Alaskan/ALCAN Highway runs from Dawson's Creek, BC to Delta Junction, AK. A total of 1387 miles of wilderness, national parks, wild animals, mountains and so much more. In the case of my journey I went all the way to Seward Alaska. Which made that stretch of the journey over 1900 miles long. Talk about a trek.
