Ireland's First Farmers and the World They Built Before It Was GONE

In this video we explore the North County Dublin field where a cauliflower harvest accidentally reopened a sealed medieval passage in 2022, the fifteen ogham stones pulled from their standing positions across East Cork and buried together inside a single underground chamber at Ballyknock North, the Drumlohan souterrain in County Waterford where inscribed ancestor memorials were installed as roof stones — several of them upside-down — and left facing darkness for twelve centuries, the constructed stone passage at Oweynagat in County Roscommon that leads directly into the mythological entrance to the Irish Otherworld, and the question of why early medieval communities building underground refuges from the largest slave market in western Europe may also have been burying something more than grain and people.
