On this hopeful Monday we see how mercy can transform even the deepest wound into grace. Forgiveness is not weakness; it is the strongest act a heart can make, and it is only possible because mercy reached us first. Saint Faustina was told that the soul which forgives draws down rivers of grace upon itself and the world. The mercy we have prayed today is meant to flow outward, especially toward those who have hurt us. As you begin this week, ask the Lord for a forgiving heart. Nothing makes the days ahead more free than letting go of what we have been holding against another. 🙏 Day-Specific Prayer: Eternal Father, at the start of this week we place our trust in Your mercy. Give us hearts that forgive as we have been forgiven, and free us from the weight of old wounds. Where we have been hurt, bring healing; where we have hardened, bring tenderness; where we hold a grievance, give us the grace to let it go.
