To the first man, Adam, it was a forbidden tree and a hidden secret, but in Christ, the last Adam, it has become an open tree, and a tree of life that can be eaten. At the Cross, the old man ends, and the new man comes to life. At the Cross, Satan and the Devil, the fathers of lies who were my heads, come to an end, and the true Father, with Christ as the head, is revealed. Therefore, the Cross is not a tree of curse, but a tree of life. It appeared like death, yet within it was resurrection; it appeared like the end, yet within it was a new creation. The way of the Cross is not the way of death, but the way of life. Through the Cross, man also comes to live with a destiny in which the life of Christ, hidden within the first man Adam, is revealed. The way of the Cross is not the way for me to live, but the way for Christ to live. When I lose myself, I gain my true self; when the old man ends, the new man is revealed; and the destiny of the Lamb is clearly manifested as my destiny. The way of the cross is God's secret in which hidden life is revealed.
