Ubiquiti UA-Intercom System Case Study: Residential Building Security Revamp

This Monday, we joined Alex Gubilit and his team at Vega Security to film a case study about an interesting project in a 120-apartment residential building. The building’s security system, initially installed by Alex team back in 2019, included access control, intercom, and video surveillance systems. As technology evolves, so do the needs of end-users, and it was time for an upgrade. The modernization began with replacing the older Mircom TX3-Nano-S3 system with a new UA-Intercom solution from Ubiquiti. Residents now enjoy modern features like facial recognition, NFC, PIN codes, and QR access, while administrators benefit from real-time video and seamless integration with surveillance cameras. One of the standout features of this upgrade was the integration of Hikvision security cameras into the UniFi system using Ubiquiti AI Port.
