Let’s tell you a little story about this tree. There are approximately 600 species of oaks in the world, but most of all this tree has inhabited the Northern Hemisphere - the temperate tropics and subtropics of Eurasia and North America. In Russia, surprisingly, in large quantities only one type of oak grows. Oak trees live on average 300-400 years and grow to a height of 30-40 meters. Some, like people, become long-livers - they have been developing for 1,500 years, but no longer in height (maximum oak growth is 50 meters), but in thickness - = the trunk of the old man becomes very voluminous. For example, in France, an oak has been living for more than two thousand years, in the hollow of which an entire room has been equipped. The fruits - acorns (which are nothing more than nuts) - oaks begin to bear, only matured to 20 years. And only one acorn out of 10,000 grows into a new tree. In the 18th century, Peter the Great forbade the cutting of oak forests throughout Russia - this wood was ideally suited for the construction of ships.
