滝桜と瑞祥五葉松 継承の記録【時代を超えて受け継がれる命と想い】

Takizakura and Zuisho Goyomatsu. Two very different trees—shaped by different places and times—yet something flows through both. At the cherry blossom festival we visited, we spoke with Mr. Yamaguchi, who planted saplings of Takizakura in this area, as well as members of the Zuisho-kai. At the venue, there was an exhibition of Zuisho Goyomatsu, a pruning demonstration, and an opportunity to see several remarkable trees up close. What begins from a cutting is passed down across generations. What is inherited is not just form, but time—and the memory of the hands that shaped it. From person to person, from tree to person, and then on to someone else. The time held within a single tree continues to branch out, taking on new forms in new places.
