Every project currently feels like it's starting from scratch – everything has to be set up manually in the ETS: building structure, group addresses, links... This not only costs time, but also makes KNX unnecessarily complex in small projects. But there is hope: With the KNX Information Model (KIM) and semantic data points, the ETS could simplify many things in the future. Initial functions are already available – but how far have we really come?
