PORSCHE 981 BRAKE FLUSH WITH ONE PERSON TUTORIAL | How to do a brake flush on a Porsche Cayman S?

In this video we'll be going through the process of changing the brake fluid with one person, a Porsche 981 Brake Fluid Bleed! Join me in the garage as we do a brake fluid flush on my 2014 Porsche Cayman S! This brake bleeding method can be used on almost any car, so don't be worried if you drive something else, this same method for bleeding the brakes of flushing your brake fluid can be use on any car! First thing to understand is why you need to flush the brake fluid, long story short, your brake fluid accumulates moisture in the lines over time. This moisture can heat up and turn to steam in your brake lines, this is bad news because it causes you to lose brake pressure, and causes brake failure. Brake failure is not good! you need to change your brake fluid and least once every two years. To make this job easier, get a pressure bleeder on amazon (links below), and get you some super dot 4 brake fluid. Check your owners manual to find out if you need the low viscosity formulae or the original formulae. The Porsche Cayman S requires the regular viscosity formulae. After that you need to understand which wheels get bled first, its always the furthest wheel first, and then slowly going closer to the master cylinder. For me this is the passenger rear, and then moving closer and closer with each wheel. Each wheel has a caliper with two bleeder valves (this will be different for each model of car), then you pressurize your bleeder, open the bleeder valve, and boom! it's done in a few easy seconds. Do this before each track day, or once every two years, and you're sure to have a safe and clean brake system.
