According to the Marti Report, this Torino is "1 of 1" as originally equipped, making it a distinctive and exclusive model. Further enhancing its rarity, it is only one of 170 ever produced with the powerful 428 Super Cobra Jet engine. This particular specimen is even more special as it is just one of four produced in the striking combination of Black exterior with a Red interior and a 4-speed transmission. What sets it apart even further is being the sole example featuring the w-code 4.30 rear end. Its provenance adds to its allure, having been originally sold new at Orange Motors in Albany, New York. The meticulous restoration was conducted through a rotisserie process, utilizing original and NOS parts whenever possible. This attention to detail is evident in the correct Red Oxide primer, paint daubs, and overspray. The restoration, taking an estimated three years and resulted in a pristine example of this iconic classic. The originality is not compromised, as the Torino boasts it's correct Cobra Jet engine paired with a 4-speed transmission. The exterior is finished in Raven Black, complemented by the original Red interior featuring bucket seats and a center console.
