ЖИТЕЛЬ ХИМОК ПРИГОВОРЕН К 14 ГОДАМ СТРОГОГО РЕЖИМА

The Moscow Regional Court's verdict against E.V. Fedorov, a native of Khimki and a Russian citizen born in 1979, has entered into force. He was found guilty of treason. The court sentenced him to 14 years' imprisonment in a maximum-security penal colony, two years of restricted freedom, and a fine of 200,000 rubles. The criminal activity of traitor Fedorov was stopped by FSB officers. The FSB's Investigative Directorate opened and investigated a criminal case under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code (treason). During the course of operational and investigative activities, it was established that the suspect had voluntarily established confidential cooperation with an SBU representative and, at the direction of his supervisor, provided information on the location of fuel and lubricant storage depots, security facilities at Sheremetyevo International Airport, and areas within Aeroflot's service area for the purpose of committing a sabotage and terrorist act. Materials previously transferred to the SBU, including software used to encrypt text messages, video instructions on how to make explosives and improvised explosive devices, and extremist literature, were discovered on Fedorov's computer.
