Retired in the Philippines... Then a Severe Stroke Happened

I'm visiting my good friend Peter in the hospital after he suffered a severe stroke here in the Philippines. Many of you know Peter from YouTube, where an interview featuring him reached over 1.3 million views. He retired to the Philippines hoping to enjoy a simple and peaceful life. Unfortunately, Peter recently suffered a major stroke. Doctors first attempted treatment with clot-busting medication, but it wasn't successful. He later underwent emergency surgery to remove the clot and reduce swelling in his brain. Thankfully, he survived, but he now faces a long recovery. Like many retirees, Peter lived on a modest pension and wasn't able to afford health insurance. His girlfriend has remained by his side every day while medical bills have already exceeded ₱200,000. I received permission from Peter's family before making this video. Every dollar this video earns through YouTube will be donated to help cover Peter's medical expenses.
