Inside the Hamster Tunnel: A 24-Hour Observation Log

This is a full 24-hour behavioral record of 6 hamsters in a "vertical honeycomb" observation system. As a Maker passionate about space design and animal behavior, I built this 80cm wide and 60cm high vertical transparent excavation unit to peel away surface-level distractions and analyze the hidden lives of these creatures from a side-profile perspective. Over the course of the day, we captured everything from territorial patrols and resource competition to the colony collectively building nests and resting within the complex tunnel structures. This is not a typical pet video, but a vertical observation experiment focused on the survival strategies and social structures of a hamster colony.
