The government gave L$1,000 for recess to ease the burden on parents. 3. Top WAEC duxes were sent abroad on scholarships for further education. President Dr. George M. Weah understood that u can’t ask a child to pass an exam on an empty stomach. Fast forward to this UP administration: Our students are now abandoned, neglected, and dejected. No geometry sets. No calculators. No recess money. No scholarships for duxes. Parents are forced to buy everything, and our best brains are left to rot. You can’t build a nation by breaking its students. You can't “rescue” Liberia by starving the future. President Weah invested in the classroom. This government invests in excuses.
