Winter in Japan is truly magical! Exploring Hokuriku Prefecture, my friends and I ventured to the peacefully beautiful city of Joetsu with its temples and aquarium, then to Toyama and Gokayama, which are covered in snowy mountains. We took a river cruise on the Shogawa River, skied at Takanbo Ski Resort, stopped by Ainokura Gassho-zukuri Village, and then to Kanazawa, which boasts a shopping district, and Fukui, the city of dinosaurs!
