Preacher: Apostle GABRIELATUNNISE Topic:(THE MERCY OF GOD) Bible Reading: Psalm 67:1 ("God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause His face to shine upon us.") The mercy of God is God's compassion and kindness toward mankind. Mercy is what makes God overlook our shortcomings and bless us beyond what we deserve. Without God's mercy, we can't enjoy the fullness of joy, God's mercy makes us receive the Fullness of Joy. many people are where they are today because the mercy of God located them. The Mercy of God do many things like.... Mercy brings forgiveness. Mercy brings favour. Mercy removes judgment. Mercy opens closed doors. Mercy gives fullness of joy. WAYS WE CAN RECEIVE GOD'S MERCY 1. By asking for Mercy ( we can ask for it) MARK 10:46-52..... Blind Bartimaeus cried out, saying, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Though people tried to silence him, he cried even louder until Jesus answered him. JEREMIAH 33:3 says: "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee..." 2. You Can Work for It (By showing compassion to others, praying for others, helping others, and more) Luke 7:1-5... The centurion received favour because he loved the people and helped build their synagogue. ●When we help others, pray for others, and show compassion, God also remembers us. Matthew 5:7 says... ("Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.") 3. God shows Mercy to whom He chooses Luke 4:25-26 God's mercy is sovereign. He can decide to lift anyone, bless anyone, and change anyone's story. No family background or situation can stop God's mercy when it begins to work. NOTE: There Is No Protocol When Mercy Is Working When mercy speaks, every obstacle is removed. Mercy breaks protocols and changes destinies. Let's PRAY..... GOD, let Your mercy speak for me and my family in all ways. Every judgment against my life, let mercy cancel it all. God, by Your mercy, grant me fullness of joy. Let every closed door open for me through Your mercy. O God, remember me and show me uncommon mercy in Jesus's name. AMEN 🙏
