The Hotwav T8 4G smartphone is a rugged phone with a reinforced casing, designed to withstand almost any kind of challenge. It is shockproof and completely dustproof. It is also IP68 & IP68K rated, meaning it is water-resistant for 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters. The Hotwav T8 smartphone feels quite large when you hold it. The 6.75-inch 120Hz IPS LCD screen with Panda Glass protection is encased in a rather substantial body. In terms of specifications, the Hotwav T8 is equipped with a Unisoc T615/T7250 processor that gets the job done. For memory, it has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The RAM Extend option is available on the smartphone, allowing you to upgrade the RAM to 12GB. The overall experience is smooth and allows you to use most of the apps available on the Play Store. On Antutu, it scores around 290,000 points. It runs Android version 16. The overall experience is clean; there's nothing particularly noteworthy about the ROM at the moment. As for network connectivity, there are no issues. The Hotwav T8 is compatible with 2G/3G/4G networks and all frequencies usable in France (no issues with Free Mobile, my carrier). The battery has a good capacity. It's equipped with a 6200 mAh battery. It recharges via USB Type-C (20W fast charging) and easily lasts two full days or more, depending on usage. A nice bonus for this rugged smartphone is the inclusion of a powerful 350-lumen flashlight, very useful for camping, DIY projects, and more. For those who love rugged smartphones, this Hotwav phone is worth considering. It offers good value for money and decent features for this type of smartphone.
