AEB-L Heat treat came out very well. Jacklore

This is the first time I have used AEB-L which was developed by Uddeholm in Sweden. The steel stands out because of its high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, ease of sharpening, and exceptional toughness. AEB-L remains popular among knife makers because of its consistency, it is easy to work with, and it attains a full mirror polish finish. I am excited and very pleased at how well the heat treatment went and am very hopeful these knives will pass all tests with flying colours. I used a "Dry ice" slurry freeze, post plate quench and before any tempering, this is the best way to minimise retained Austenite.
