Hey there! How are you? I had the opportunity to test the Raccoon 2 SE robotic lawnmower from @iRoboUP as part of a commercial collaboration! It's a very easy-to-install robotic mower; you simply attach the bumper and install the base. There's no need to install a perimeter wire or RTK antenna. The rest is automatic. Installation takes just a few minutes. Upon startup, the robot will automatically map the lawn, which can then be modified via the app. To tell you a bit about the app, the robot can also operate completely autonomously without it, which is ideal if you don't have a smartphone or Wi-Fi connection in your garden. All menus remain accessible outside the app from the robot's control panel. It can maintain a lawn up to 500m² with a maximum height of 12cm and a maximum slope of 36%. It can operate in multiple zones with narrow passages at least 80cm wide. But if you have areas that are inaccessible but still delimited by borders, fences, etc., you can simply place the robot inside them and start mowing a "targeted" zone. For this zone, you'll need to define a mowing height, duration, and mowing pattern (random or parallel lines). Regarding edge trimming, there are two operating modes: it will either leave a 10-15cm strip or cut right over it so you don't need to use a separate edger. The choice is yours!
