Luderitz Speed Challenge

NOTE: **literally edited in 10 minutes - before heading off to the channel again. Didn't even have time to check the video. Just needed to make some footage for windsurfing.tv So the aim of this video is to show some background to what goes on at Luderitz Speed Challenge.** A very rough edit of all the clips from November 25th At the 2022 #luderitzspeedchallenge , A day where Heidi Ulrich finally broke the Women's Speed World Record!! (congrats Speed Queen!), and I upped my Irish Sailing Speed Record to 49.87 knots over 500m. I'm still on a mission to make that over 50knots, and I did get it on my GPS, but not on the official course (on my gps started sooner than the start box, and end sooner than the finish line... this happens a bit). Wind was cranking from the start, and we had perfect angle, but then went too broad and a bit dangerous. Hans had a big crash. We sat out the broad part before jumping back in a bit later in afternoon. Wind was 40 knots and highest gust recorded was 62 knots. More again today! 4th Fastest for the day and currently in 6th overall for the whole event.
