The Kody Norris Show with "Polly Wolly Doodle" Live at Everett's Music Barn

Josiah Tyree takes the lead on vocals and banjo with the oft-imitated-but-not-like-this "Polly Wolly Doodle." The song dates all the way back to 1843 and has been performed in many different ways with many different lyrics. As usual, The Kody Norris Show puts smiles on people's faces and gets their toes tapping with this rendition of a classic song. The 2023 SPBGMA Performer of the Year and Guitar Performer of the Year, Kody Norris is on guitar; his wife and 2023 SPBGMA Fiddler Performer of the Year, Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris, jams on the fiddle, and Charles Lowman keeps time on the bass. In addition to the individual SPBGMA awards, the group won the 2023 Instrumental Group of the Year.
