Check out our Mudcrab Mission on Salty Sessions    • MUDCRAB CATCH AND COOK! Chilli mudcrab wit...   The gear I use – https://www.firetofork.net/gear Patreon -   / firetofork   Merch: https://www.firetofork.net/shop I’m most active on Instagram @firetofork I’m also on Facebook -   / firetofork   Ingredients: • 2 mud crabs gutted and with shells cracked between each joint (you can substitute with 5 blue swimmers ) • 1 diced onion • 4 cloves of garlic diced or crushed • 2x stalks of crushed lemongrass (or 1/3 of a pre-made tube) • 1.5 tbspn grated ginger • 2x tins diced tomatoes • 4tbspn soy sauce • 2 chillis diced • 2 tbspn oyster sauce • 400ml water • 2/3 cup loosely diced coriander (to garnish) • 1.5 cups rice Directions • Add all the ingredients except the coriander and rice to a camp oven or very large wok and put on medium heat, simmering for approx. 10 min (total time on the heat approx. 20 min). Remove from the heat when all the bits of crab are orange • Place the rice in the pot with 3 cups of water and boil with a lid on until the water has absorbed. • Serve the crab in a large bowl over the rice, garnished with coriander.
