I Built My Most Ambitious Table Yet… Then Drove It 16 Hours to NYC
This was one of the most ambitious tables I’ve ever built. A sculptural custom dining table designed and built for a client in New York City — from the carved wooden base to the final delivery, this project pushed every part of the process. After weeks of shaping, sanding, refining, and finishing, I loaded it up and drove it 16 hours to deliver it by hand. This piece was built to feel more like functional art than traditional furniture — a dining table that brings craftsmanship, movement, and a natural sculptural presence into the home.
