A Dark Web Map Led Me to an Old Murder Site in Matlock

I followed another location from a Dark Web Map into Matlock, Derbyshire… and accidentally discovered an abandoned 300-year-old mill linked to murder, hidden gold and paranormal activity. After leaving the crowds of Matlock Bath behind, the investigation led me through Bailey’s Tump, the mysterious Wishing Stone, and eventually deep inside one of the largest abandoned places I’ve explored so far. It wasn’t until I researched the building’s history that I uncovered the disturbing legend of a murdered miller who was believed to have hidden gold somewhere on the site before his death.
