The Mid Season Draft isn't just fixing a small problem, its telling us about a bigger one

G'day, welcome back to Critical AFL, I'm Damo, making use of the West Coast bye this weekend in both the AFL and WAFL to spend a bit of time on some broader AFL topics that I've wanted to discuss for a while. Today that is the Mid-Season Draft, which by the way, I have nothing but a positive view of, but I want to use some of the evidence from the Mid Season Draft, to talk about: 1. How it ties into the overall draft system, including: 2. The current draft model, becoming more outdated as every year goes by, 3. Why this isn't just a problem for the individuals missing out, but a problem for the entire talent pool, and then 4.
