Couple arrested for murder of two Soweto boys
Police say they've made a breakthrough in the investigation of two murdered Soweto boys. A 50-year old woman and her 39-year old partner have been arrested. They face charges of murder and will appear in the Protea magistrate's court on Friday. The mutilated bodies of the two boys were discovered between White City and Rockville last week after they were reported missing. It is understood that 5-year-old Nqobile Zulu and 6-year-old Tshiamo Ramanye were kidnapped while playing not far from their home. Another child managed to escape. A memorial service for the boys is being held today, and they will be laid to rest on Friday. Newzroom Afrika reporter Zola Sholwana has more from Soweto where a memorial service will be held for the slain kids. Tune into Newzroom Afrika DStv channel 405 for more.
