Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi associate with plants, most of which must deal with attack from insect herbivores at one stage or another. In this talk I’ll give an overview of how AM fungi can affect insect herbivores, how herbivory can affect AM fungi, and why fungal diversity in plant roots is important.
