Malibu Creek State Park-Rock Pool-Cliff Jumping-Beyond the Pools

Went to Malibu Creek on Sunday pretty busy not too bad, we hiked 3.1 miles total made it to the Rock Pool did some Cliff jumps pretty high very nice very deep, careful jump far big rocks in the pool. The water temp is really nice I decided to go upstream to explore the other pools and try to find crayfish. I found some nice narrows very dangerous path no trail beyond the pool basically swimming and LOTS of rock hopping. Small waterfall I found in the narrows with a little grotto nice treat, made it back huge cave on the way back or there you can go through cave to get to the other rock pools, I took the harder path. Stopped by the visitor center on the way back would recommend lots of information and cool things, I wanna come back in the evening to look for bullfrogs and crayfish to catch and cook but that’s for next time. Overall nice area peaceful beautiful.
