Into the Woods for Retreat and Great Coffee at SUNNY COFFEE & ROASTERS On a fresh, breezy day in May, we visited a charming coffee shop nestled in Hara Village, Nagano Prefecture. Yes—it's the very same Masashi Fujimura who appeared in Vol.6 – A Tea Person Meets Specialty Coffee. His long-awaited café, SUNNY COFFEE & ROASTERS, has finally opened its doors. As you walk through the grove, a beautifully modern building appears amid the trees. There’s nothing around but pure nature—and the sound of birdsong. Surrounded by crisp forest air and gentle light, we took our time savoring a fragrant cup of coffee. It was such a peaceful and satisfying moment... I found myself not wanting to return to the city.
