Stockholm Walks: Hornsgatan. Slussen to Hornstull , 4k, natural sound (2.5 km treadmill / relaxing)

Södermalm, Saturday morning about 7 o´clock in September. From Slussen and the beginning of Hornsgatan, to the other side of Södermalm. Hornsgatan is one of the large streets that runs through the city. On the hill that comes early in this walk, called “hornsgatspuckeln” – hump of Hornsgatan – there are many galleries and unique shops. I also appreciate the middle parts where many old signs and stores can be seen. Hornsgatan is unfortunally also know for the highest level of air pollution in Stockholm. A stretch of the street, right before reaching the neigbourhood Hornstull (nicknamed “knife söder” before becoming hip quite recently) is rather dull looking, but somehow I kind of like that all of Södermalm has not quite turned hip yet. If you want to look for typically Swedish things you can see how many hot dog stands you pass along the way: tunnbrödrulle is recommended: hotdog or veggie option rolled in to a thin bread with mashed potatoes, salad and more.
