Topic: Formulas and names of hydroxides. • Hydroxides are composed of a metal and a (OH)-hydroxide group, which always has a valence of one (oxygen valence - hydrogen valence). • We create hydroxide names by adding the metal name to the word hydroxide and, if necessary, the metal's valence. • Determining the formula from the name and vice versa is explained in the video!
