Fear of missing out or FOMO in gaming is very real these days. Whether it's not wanting to miss out on any co-op games releasing or playing single player RPGs as fast as possible in order to not get spoiled by someone online, our desire to play games as quickly, and efficiently as possible often leads to us burning out, shelving the game, and adding it to our ever growing backlog of video games.
