Bismillah Peace be upon you... This is our first impression of our Eid homecoming by bus to my beloved wife's hometown. A remote village far from the big city, but already beginning to develop and thrive. Its name is Kualuh Leidong, North Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra. Kualuh Leidong is a sub-district in Labuhanbatu Regency. Its proximity to the sea allows the locals to earn their living by fishing, while others are rice farmers, as Leidong rice is renowned for its delicious flavor. To get there, we must pass through several small towns and one quite famous city, Tanjung Balai Asahan, known as the Shellfish City.
