EL TESORO DE DAVID - CHARLES SPURGEON "SALMO 6"

This psalm is commonly called the first of the "Penitential Psalms," and its language certainly corresponds to the lips of a penitent, for it expresses at once the sorrow (verses 3, 6, 7), the humiliation (verses 2, 4), and the abhorrence of sin (verse 8), which are the infallible marks of the contrite spirit that turns to God.
