Having visited the Bonsai Art Museum many times before, the rainy day presented a different scenery, and the bonsai displayed different expressions. The leaves of the bonsai, wet from the rain, reflected the light and became more glossy and vivid in color. The trunks and branches of pines, Shimpaku junipers, maples, and others became darker, enhancing their natural appearance. In the dim light of the rainy sky, the bonsai, adorned with a cloak of rain, changed their expressions with each raindrop, and each one shone with an even greater presence. By observing the bonsai in the quiet, resonant sound of raindrops, I was able to experience a sense of unity with nature. I wish I could share this live feeling with you.
