Trains at Leicester, MML, 02/01/2026

An evening spotting trains at Leicester Station on 2nd January 2026. A pretty good station to film at with plenty of usual passenger services and a lot more freight than I expected. Something which surprised me was seeing GBRF 47739 dragging 43014 and two New Measurement Train coaches out of Leicester L.I.P on a shunting move. Trains featured: East Midlands Railway Class 222s, 158 and 810 CrossCountry Class 170s GBRF Class 66s DB Cargo Class 66 GBRF 47739 NMT 43014 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching.
