Shhh, be very quiet! Hendrik has to really hold back when he's only allowed to whisper during his wildlife report. Together with Christian from the German Wildlife Foundation, he's in Klepelshagen searching for deer. The two are lucky and manage to observe three of the shy animals up close. Hendrik learns about so-called fairy rings, why bucks rub their antlers against trees, and why deer eat as if they have a bag of gummy bears in front of them. Squirrel Winni finds it particularly endearing that the antlers are also called "horns" in hunting terminology – and explains to visiting child Ede in the treehouse in the crooked oak tree that a deer's antlers fall off and grow back every year.
