How I Press Leather Patched Hats With my Vevor Clamshell Press

This video will briefly show how I use my modded Vevor Clamshell Heat Press to press leather patches onto caps. Before you start pressing, don't forget you are going to probably need some heat tape, something to cover and protect the patch and hat (I use unbleached parchment paper from Walmart), and maybe a little Aleen's Super Tacky Glue if you want to give yourself a little insurance on the corners of the patch. Why mod the design? I watched a great video by Roy on the Industrial Fringe Channel (   • How To Press Perfect Hats With A The Vevor...  ) where he made this suggestion to replace the lower platen with the Cricut Hat Pressing Form (https://cricut.com/en-us/heat-presses.... It has made my life SO much easier - but this is only my personal experience. Some folks love the 4 way, spring loaded platen. For me, it was just a little to cumbersome.
