Winter’s almost over in Stranded: Alien Dawn S1E3, and this is one of those moments where a little preparation makes a huge difference later. So in this episode, I focus on setting things up before spring actually hits. We start by laying out early farms while the tail end of winter ticks by, so they’re ready the moment growing becomes possible. A new survivor also joins the group, which changes the early consumption more than you might expect (minimum meals set to 2 instead of 1). From there, I walk through my basic early power setup. We also deal with the first nest attacks to start stockpiling carbon fiber for armor and future construction. Throughout the episode, I fade in and out of upgrades and research so you can see a beginner-friendly research order, understand why certain things come before others, and avoid rushing into systems you’re not ready to support yet.
